Amazon to soon sell locally made food

According to reports, eight months after acquiring the government’s approval, e-commerce giant Amazon is planning to sell locally made food in India from March onwards. With an investment of over $500 million in the venture, Amazon will be competing with online food retail marketplaces including Bigbasket and Grofers.
