S Balachandran, Director of Cyclone Warning Research Centre has forecasted rain for the next two days around the coastal regions of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry due to low pressure on the Bay of Bengal. Chennai to receive intermittent rain and heavy rains at some times in the next two days. Balachandran also predicted rain showers for the interior regions of Tamil Nadu.
