The sidelined deputy general secretary of AIADMK on Tuesday compared the Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami with Ettappan, widely known as a traitor. He reportedly said, "Like Ettappa, Edappadi will also be remembered in history". After the merger between the CM and O Panneerselvam, VK Sasikala was removed from the party and was sacked as the general secretary of AIADMK.
