According to reports, a 25-year-old man from Kitchipalayam of Salem died after falling from a rock on top of Oothumalai Murugan temple hill when he tried to take a selfie. Ganesan, manager at a private firm, along with his friends, visited the hill shrine on Sunday. While he was taking selfies with his friends standing on a rock in the hill, he slipped and fell into a 50 feet pit. He sustained serious injuries on the head, and died on the spot. Police have reportedly filed a case, and are investigating the matter.
