TN govt report reveals shocking number of deaths in road accidents

The Tamil Nadu government on Friday reportedly released a report that said 14,077 people were killed in road accidents in the State from January to October in 2017. The road transport department has temporarily suspended 86,873 driving licenses till October, reports said. Compared to last year, the road accidents and death due to them have decreased by 5,145 and 525 respectively, the government reportedly added in its report.
