According to reports, two multi-level parking lots outside Meenambakkam domestic and international terminals are to come up. The parking lots can hold 2,000 cars and the estimated budget for the construction of the same is Rs 2.5 crore. The Airports Authority of India has invited tenders and the project is expected to get over by 2019 end.
