Following the release of a video featuring J Jayalalithaa, VK Sasikala’s brother Dhivakaran’s son Jayanand has said that Vetrivel has released the video as wrong information about Jayalalithaa’s death was spread among the people. Saying that Sasikala will accept the release of the video, Jayanand added that neither Sasikala nor Dhinakaran knew about the release of the video. He also stated that Vetrivel released the video with good intention. The video footage should be scrutinised in a foreign country, he said. Further, he added that Dhinakaran will not talk now yo be in compliance with Election Commission’s model code of conduct and will issue a clarification after the election.
