Tamil Nadu government stadiums won't be free from November 1

The authorities at Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT) have reportedly said that activities such as walking and sporting in the stadium will not be free from Wednesday. Reports say, there are currently 17 multi-purpose stadiums and 25 mini-stadiums maintained by SDAT, which have reportedly been free of cost to athletes and sportspersons since its beginning. To overcome the cash crunch that SDAT is currently undergoing, authorities have instructed them to collect maintenance charges from all users including morning walkers from November 1.
