Activist T Jayaraman, the chief coordinator of the Anti-Methane Project Movement, along with his wife Chitra, have reportedly been arrested. The 63-year-old activist has a case pending against him in connection with the protest against ONGC in Kathiramangalam of Thanjavur. The retired professor was earlier arrested for spearheading the protest against ONGC following a leakage in the pipe transporting crude oil and natural gas.
