T Nagar gets face detection cameras to fish out burglars in crowd

In an attempt to keep people safe during their shopping for Diwali, the Chennai police have reportedly installed face detection cameras in the busy areas of T Nagar. Around 500 photographs of former convicts have reportedly been installed in the system. If the cameras spot someone resembling the installed photographs, alerts will be sent.
