A swimming pool was reportedly built for Rs 10 lakh for an elephant named Kasthoori in Palani temple. Reportedly the elephant has been staying in Palani for over a decade. The elephant has already been given a luxurious shower which was built of Rs 1 lakh. The pool has been built in the temple’s land in Karamadai.
