SC may allow Karti Chidambaram to go abroad

The Supreme Court on Thursday indicated that it may allow Karti Chidambaram to go abroad for four or five days as it studied documents submitted by the CBI to oppose his application. The son of former Finance Minister P Chidambaram wants to travel to Cambridge to admit his daughter to a university. A lookout circular against Karti was issued for alleged irregularities in Foreign Investment Promotion Board clearance to INX Media during Chidambaram's reign as Finance Minister during the previous government rule.
