Pregnant woman commits suicide

A 20-year-old pregnant woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at her house in Chennai, as she was unable to withstand stomach pain. Reports say, the woman got married in June this year and was three months pregnant. Based on a complaint from the girl’s father, an inquest has been reportedly ordered by a sub-judicial magistrate.
