Ahead of the Tamil Nadu state elections in 2021, the major political party AIADMK and Kamal Hassan’s MNM that fared a decent vote bank considering the party’s short term development has reportedly sought the advice of expert political strategist Prasanth Kishor’s I-PAC (Indian Political Action Committee).

Prashant Kishore to team up with Kamal Hassan MNM-EPS-OPS

Prashant Kishor is the proven political strategist who was the key factor behind 2014 Lok Sabha elections victory of BJP. Not just Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nithish Kumar and the recent Jagan Mohan Reddy who became the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh also sought political advice from Prashant Kishore.

Kamal Hassan’s Makkal Needhi Maiyam (MNM) has taken a big step for 2021 elections by confirming the association with I-PAC. Sources reveal that I-PAC has signed an “Exclusive Mandate” with MNM. Prashanth Kishore is expected to address the party’s district secretaries very soon in Chennai.

While MNM’s association is officially confirmed by many sources, only very few sources including TOI have revealed that Edappadi K Palaniswamy led AIADMK has also consulted Prasanth Kishor. “Kishor’s association with our party is yet to be announced formally. He has taken an advance from us and his team has started ground work across the state,” an AIADMK official was quoted as saying by TOI.

However, there are speculations that Prashanth Kishor is concerned about EPS-OPS, dual leadership of the party. Therefore, an official clarification is awaited regarding I-PAC’s association with AIADMK.
