Speaking at a meeting of Coordination Committee of Farmers Associations, actor Kamal Haasan reportedly said one can live without cinema but not without drinking water and food. While several other states have waived off farmers’ loans, Tamil Nadu has not done it, he reportedly added. Further, Kamal Haasan added that he came to the meeting, not for votes, but to ensure the availability of food to everyone, reports said. The actor further reportedly said he came to the meeting, not to offer consolation to the farmers, but to incite their anger.
