The Supreme Court on Friday reportedly declared invalid the engineering degrees obtained through correspondence from deemed universities in the last 16 years. The apex court’s decision puts thousands of graduates at risk of losing their jobs received on the basis of the certificates. However, the top court said students of the batches between 2001 and 2005 can revive degrees by undergoing an exam by AICTE.
