Salem police have reportedly clarified that no sedition case was filed against AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran. The pamphlets distributed by Dhinakaran supporters contained passages against State and Central governments, so a case was filed against him for acting against the State and Central governments, police reportedly said. Earlier, Annathanapatti police filed a case against 36 people including TTV Dhinakaran after his supporters distributed pamphlets which criticised Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, the State and Central governments.
