In yet another case of medical negligence, a 700 gram new born girl baby, that was delivered in government headquarters hospital in Dindigul, reportedly cried while the baby was on her way to get her ‘last rites’ done. As the baby cried, the pleasantly surprised relatives reportedly took the baby back to the hospital, where immediate treatment was given. As the girl was motionless after being born, the nurses reportedly told the relatives that the baby died as she was born underweight.
