LATEST WEATHER UPDATE FROM CHENNAI MET CENTRE

Chennai Meteorological Centre reportedly said that parts in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu are likely to receive a slight rainfall due to convection. No significant rain has been reported in the last 24 hours, the Centre said.

According to the weather agency, inner districts of Tamil Nadu are likely to receive rains. It also added that the skies above Chennai will be cloudy and there are possibilities of rain in the evening or night.

According to skymetweather, Monsoon trough has presently shifted northwards to its normal position and is seen running from Coastal Andhra Pradesh up to Tamil Nadu, which could register some spells.
