COMMISSIONER VISITS CHENNAI YOUTH ATTACKED BY TRAFFIC COP

A few days back, a youth hailing from Chennai, going by the name Haroon Sait had claimed that a traffic cop, Ilayaraja had attacked him on Spartunk Road, for not possessing original RC documents, post which the cop was suspended from service. Sait spent some time recuperating in hospital.

Post his story, which went viral on Facebook, Chennai City police commissioner AK Viswanathan paid a visit to the latter's residence, enquired of his well being and also stated that people indulging in acts of violence would be bought to justice. The CoP's visit was shared widely on social media, garnering positive plaudits from netizens.
