Following the controversy that was caused by his recent tweet, senior journalist, RSS ideologue Gurumurthy tweeted his answer. He said that it is common in journalism to use the term ‘impotent’ translating as being 'incompetent' and that he was not responsible for AIADMK Minister’s interpretation of the term. Earlier his tweet about AIADMK leaders stirred up controversy for the usage of the word ‘impotent’.
