Madras High Court judge Justice P Velmurugan has reportedly asked the superintendent of Parappana Agrahara jail in Bengaluru and UIDAI regional officer, who handles Aadhaar, to submit Jayalalithaa’s fingerprint details to the court by December 8. The order was passed in relation to a petition filed by DMK functionary P Saravanan questioning the validity of the former Tamil Nadu CM’s thumb impression on election documents for Assembly bypoll in 2016.
