EVM malfunctioning in New Washermanpet

The Electronic Voting Machine, used at a polling booth in New Washermanpet area of RK Nagar constituency, suffered a technical glitch in the morning. The polling booth officer is reportedly involved in fixing the issue by replacing it with an alternative EVM machine. 54 votes were reportedly cast in that machine. Notably, polling is going on in 256 polling booths across the constituency.
