When transport employees are staging a protest demanding a hike in their salaries among other demands, TN CM Edappadi Palaniswami on Wednesday reportedly proposed a bill claiming a hike for TN MLAs by 91%. Currently, the MLAs are getting paid an amount of Rs 55,000 and the CM wants it to be increased to Rs 1.05 lakhs.
