ELDERLY COUPLE COMMITS SUICIDE AS SON AND DAUGHTERS DIDN’T CARE

According to reports, an elderly couple in Su. Nallur near Vanapuram committed suicide by consuming poison as their son and daughters didn’t take care of them. The couple - Raman (75) and Irusammal (67) - were living together alone after their son and daughters got married.

Reports suggest that the duo was depressed as they had no one to care for them. They consumed insecticide and were found in a fainted state. Neighbours rushed them to the government hospital in Tiruvannamalai.

However, they both died in the hospital. Police have reportedly filed a case in connection with the matter and a probe is on.
