According to reports, 23-year-old Dhashvanth from Chennai, who is accused of killing his mother Sarala, has been remanded to judicial custody till December 29. The Mahila court in Chengalpet pronounced the decision on Monday. The youth is also accused of killing a 7-year-old girl, Hasini. Police earlier arrested his friend Manikandan in connection with the case.
