Dengue patients stand outside as hospital didn’t allow them inside

According to reports, patients in the special ward for Dengue in the government medical college hospital in Palayamkottai of Tirunelveli were standing outside with glucose bottles in their hands as the hospital didn’t allow them inside. Reports suggest that they were earlier evacuated saying they are being shifted to a new building. However, patients alleged that it was an old unsanitary building without any basic amenities.
