The producers of the ‘Mersal’ film have agreed to remove the controversial scenes following the opposition from BJP for the dialogues about Digital India and GST in the film, reported Puthiya Thalaimurai. Earlier, BJP leaders Tamilisai Soundararajan, Pon Radhakrishnan and H Raja had stated that the scenes should be removed as they are against the central government. However, a confirmation from the filmmakers about when will the changes be made is still awaited.
