No. of injured on Diwali due to firecrackers revealed

According to reports, at least 58 people have been injured in the firecrackers-related accidents on Diwali in Chennai. This is double the number of persons who suffered injuries on Diwali last year. Tamil Nadu government constituted special wards in government hospitals to treat fire injuries. Fire services officials reportedly said Chennai witnessed 46 accidents this Diwali due to firecrackers which are lesser compared to last year.
