CM announces relief for cyclone-affected farmers

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Monday reportedly announced relief for farmers affected by cyclone Ockhi. Farmers who cultivated rubber trees will receive an assistance of Rs 1 lakh per hectare of land. Meanwhile, the farmers who cultivated banana trees will get an assistance of Rs 48,500-63,500.
