According to reports, the Regional Meteorological Center earlier predicted it will start raining heavily in Chennai from Thursday. While the city will get spells in few areas on Monday, the Met centre has issued a warning to the fishermen to avoid going to the ocean for fishing from Monday. However, the latest weather modules reportedly indicate, a system which was supposed to approach Chennai is expected to move towards Andhra. If the latest module moves as predicted, Chennai will not receive heavy rain.
