CHENNAI: MAN KILLS FRIEND, COMMITS SUICIDE IN RICHIE STREET

According to reports, a man stabbed his friend to death on Sunday night and committed suicide by hanging at a godown of an electronic shop in Richie Street near Chintadripet in Chennai. The two friends - Saravanan and Prabhu - stayed in the godown in Muhammad Hussein lane on Sunday night.

However, when the godown was opened on Monday morning, Saravanan was found dead hanging, while Prabhu was stabbed to death. It is alleged that the duo consumed liquor and an argument broke out between the two, who began to talk to each other recently after not talking to each other over an argument for six months.

Chintadripet police have been investigating the matter.
