AAVIN MILK TO PAY YOU MONEY IF YOU DO THIS!

The state-owned Aavin Milk has come up with a programme to do its part for the environment. Instead of throwing the milk covers in the dustbin, you can now make money with it!

Aavin is getting back their milk covers and they are paying for it. They pay 10 paisa for each cover. Aavin is also urging private milk producers to join the programme, reports The Hindu.

Aavin sold about 12 lakh litres in Chennai last financial year which sums up to 12-24 lakh milk covers. The sachets can be handed over to retailers, agents who sell Aavin milk or cooperative societies.

Tamil Nadu government has banned plastic in the state but however, essential things like milk are excluded. Now this move from Aavin is a good one for the environment.
