COVID-19 IN CHENNAI: NUMBER OF CONTAINMENT ZONES RISE TO 419; CORPORATION SHARES DETAILS!

As Tamil Nadu reports 580 new cases in the state, the containment zone in Chennai has gone up to 419. Meanwhile, the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has shared the updated list and names of the zone on their twitter handle.

As of May 2, there were 711 containment zone across 36 districts. These zones and list have been categorized on geographical locations which help in identifying pockets across the city that need critical help and intervention at the right time.

Earlier in the day, the Greater Chennai Corporation took to social media and shared the updates on list of containment zones in Chennai.
