According to media reports, four students drowned to death after they took dip in Cauvery river. 14 students reportedly went to take bath in the river in Panayakurichi. Among them, four students reportedly drowned. The other students called fire service for help before help arrived all of them passed away. Reportedly, bodies of two students have not been found.
