BIG SPIKE IN TAMIL NADU TODAY, 161 NEW POSITIVE CASES REPORTED; ADDITIONAL COVID-19 DETAILS LISTED

Tamil Nadu on Thursday, 30 April, reported 161 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state 2323. Of the 161 new cases, 138 were from Chennai alone.

The state reported no death on the date

Total number of samples tested today – 9787

Total number of persons tested till date – 1,10,718

Total number of persons tested today – 9643

Total number of suspected individuals in isolation ward admission – 1978

Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 1258

Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 48
