A game of cricket has always been rough and tough; despite having all the guards on players they still get injured or hurt. Recently, Shaun Marsh and Marcus Stoinis got brutally hit during the ongoing season of Marsh Shield.

Shaun Marsh, Marcus Stoinis brutally hit as play gets abandoned

As per Indian Express report, the ‘dangerous’ MCG pitch made it extremely difficult for the batsmen against fast bowlers during a match between Victoria and Western Australia in Melbourne in Western Australia.

This incident happened during the 16th match where Western Australia batsmen got brutally hit not just once but a number of times. The incident took place at the 11th over, when Marsh got hit on the body. Minutes later, all-rounder Marcus Stoinis also got some serious blows in the ribs.

Minutes later, a decision to call off play was made between Victoria and Western Australia after several batsmen were hit by rising deliveries.

As the match was cancelled, Western Australia were 89/3 in 39.4 overs while, Stoinis was (2 not out) and Cameron Green (7 not out). Reports suggest that, they both will resume the match from where it ended.
