Novak Djokovic moves to finals, beats world number 1 Nadal

The King of Clay Rafael Nadal and World Numer 21 Novak Djokovic clashed in the Wimbledon Semi-Finals on Saturday, resulting in the second longest semi-finals ever played in the tournament. The match resulted in Djokovic's win over world number 1 Nadal.

 

The Serb beat Nadal with a 6-4, 3-6, 7-6, 3-6, 10-8 victory. Djokovic will now face South African player, Kevin Anderson on Sunday in the finals. If Djokovic wins on Sunday, his grand slam tally will reach 13.

 

Speaking after the match, Djokovic said, "To win against the best player in the world, in one of the longest matches I ever played, I'm just overwhelmed. It's very special. It really could have gone either way. It was clear very few things separated us."
