The new title sponsor's name comes days after the Indian board suspended its title sponsorship deal with Vivo - the Chinese mobile manufacturer. They had signed a deal in 2018 for 5 years.

As per Times Now report, the BCCI received Rs. 440 crore from Vivo, while Dream XI will pay BCCI Rs. 222 crore for the upcoming season. The 13th edition will be played in the UAE from September 19 to November 10.

However, IPL chairman Brijesh Patel confirmed that Dream 11 will pay BCCI Rs 222 crore. They came up with the highest bid followed by Unacademy and Byju's.

The decision to suspend Vivo came days after the Indo-China clash in the Galwan valley where 20 Indian soldiers were martyred. Following which, the BCCI had to let go of Vivo as a title sponsor.

More details are awaited in the matter.
