TEAM INDIA WOMEN'S SQUAD FOR SERIES AGAINST SOUTH AFRICA ANNOUNCED!

Team India Women’s squad for the upcoming limited-overs series against South Africa at home has been announced by the BCCI. The two teams will engage in five T20Is and 3 ODIs starting 24th September.

30-year-old Harmanpreet Kaur will Captain the T20I side with Smriti Mandahan as her deputy. However, Mithali still continues to captain the ODI side with Kaur as her deputy. Mithali recently announced her retirement from T20I career to focus better on the 2022 World Cup. 

Squad for the ODI series: Mithali Raj (Captain), Jemimah Rodrigues, Harmanpreet Kaur (Vice-Captain), Punam Raut, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, Taniya Bhatia (Wicket-Keeper), Jhulan Goswami, Shikha Pandey, Mansi Joshi, Ekta Bisht, Poonam Yadav, D Hemalatha, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Priya Punia.

Squad for the T20I series: Harmanpreet Kaur (Captain), Smriti Mandhana (Vice-Captain), Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Taniya Bhatia (Wicket-Keeper), Poonam Yadav, Shikha Pandey, Arundhati Reddy, Pooja Vastrakar, Radha Yadav, Veda Krishnamurthy, Harleen Deol, Anuja Patil, Shafali Verma, Mansi Joshi.

All the ODI matches will be played at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat while T20I matches will be played at Vadodara International Cricket Stadium in Vadodara.
