George Bailey, who is currently the Tasmanian captain got dismissed without scoring in his final First-class innings in Hobart. He is currently part of the ongoing season of the Marsh Shield between Tasmania and South Australia in Hobart.

The most unexpected thing happened during the third day of the 18th match where batsman George Bailey got dismissed on the first delivery in his last First-class innings.

Highlighting about the incident, this incident took place during the sixth delivery of the 22nd over when Bailey shouldered arms to South Australia bowler Wes Agar. As the ball hit the batsman, it ended up touching the stumps and making him walking back to the pavilion. That fateful moment closed the doors on his 15-year old career.

Bailey came to bat at No. 4 in the 33rd over and he scored 7 in 12 balls before getting out to Chadd Sayers.

In this whole season, Bailey scored 185 runs at an average of 23.12 and a strike rate of 51.10 which also included a half-century.
