Woman 'fakes' death to claim Rs 1 crore insurance money

A 35-year-old woman in Hyderabad was reportedly arrested for allegedly 'faking' her death to claim insurance money by fraudulent means. Reports say, the woman’s husband allegedly submitted fake documents declaring his wife who is the policyholder dead. However, the insurance company official found that the woman was alive. Reports say, the woman was arrested on Saturday on charges of cheating and forgery, while her husband absconded.
