UNCLE RAPES 18-MONTH-OLD BABY, LEAVES HER UNCONSCIOUS, BLEEDING IN BUSHES

In a tragic incident, an 18-month-old toddler was allegedly raped at a wedding. The alleged incident took place in Uttar Pradesh's Pohiya village.

The incident came to light after the baby was found lying unconscious near bushes around 400 meter away from the wedding venue. The mother and the baby had come to attend a wedding where the distressing incident took place.

The mother of the baby started looking for her daughter after the accused did not return for around two hours. Hours after this, the baby was found unconscious and her abdomen was bleeding as well. It was alleged that the family was making constant efforts to suppress the case, reports Times Now.

The mother was allegedly asked to leave the venue with her daughter. Information about the incident was given to the police by a local. While talking to the Times of India, SHO Khandauli, Prashant Tyagi stated that they booked the accused under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the POCSO Act. The accused is yet to be arrested. The baby who was raped was sent for a medical examination.
