Tirupati laddu prices doubled: Reason here

According to reports, prices of laddu that is provided as ‘Prasadam’ in Tirumala Tirupati temple have been doubled for private events and events organised by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. While the rates will remain unchanged for the regular devotees, the TTD has reportedly come to this decision as the rates of ingredients have been increased.
