According to reports, the HD Kumaraswamy government is likely to have two Deputy Chief Ministers which has added to the worry of Kumaraswamy as the Veerashaiva Mahasabha demanded a minimum of five berths for the community including Deputy CM post.

Kumaraswamy will be meeting Congress President Rahul Gandhi and the senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi on Monday o discuss the positions to be allocated to the Ministers.

The possibility of rotational CM has been ruled out as it was raised by Congress earlier. “I will not give up the Chief Minister’s post for anybody. I will be the Chief Minister for the entire five-year term. Congress has not raised the issue of a rotational CM,” he said.
