The noted scientist and Nobel prize winner Sir CV Raman’s home was reportedly robbed on Saturday at around 3:30 am. Located in Malleshwaram, the house is currently maintained by the Karnataka government. A gang of six members reportedly entered the home and stole two sandal trees after chopping them with a machine. Reportedly, the members of the gang were speaking Tamil and they threatened the security guard with weapons.
