SCOLDED BY MOTHER FOR NOT DOING HOUSEHOLD WORK, GIRL COMMITS SUICIDE

A class VIII student committed suicide by hanging herself at home in Pune after being scolded by her mother for not finishing the household works she had assigned, say reports. The 14-year-old girl took the extreme step when her parents were not home. Police reportedly said that a neighbour spotted her body hanging at around 6 pm on Saturday. A probe is on to ascertain if there is any other reason behind her suicide, police reportedly added.
