A rapist who was on bail after raping a woman has reportedly attacked the woman again, flinging acid at her. The crime took place in Gurgaon, on November 22, but the police registered a case only on November 29. The survivor alleged that her repeated calls to the police control room on November 22, after the acid attack went unanswered. A fresh FIR has been lodged against the accused.
