HEARTBREAKING: ON CAM, COUPLE ABANDONS BABY, FATHER KISSES FOR LAST TIME

In a heartbreaking video footage, a couple was seen abandoning their 5-day-old baby out of fear that they would be shamed for having a fourth child.

The man and his wife were caught on CCTV outside a church in Kochi. They were seen in the footage abandoning the baby on Saturday evening. The father can be seen kissing the baby for one last time before leaving her. He was also seen turning back and checking on the child.

Police checked the CCTV footage and tracked the parents. They were enquired and a case for filed based on the Juvenile safety act. Both the father and the mother were arrested.
