NAKED, HEADLESS BODY OF A WOMAN FOUND IN LAKE

The news came to light after passersby discover the body of an unidentified woman floating in a lake in Mumbai's Vasai on Monday night.

The body was naked and headless. It was brought to the police's attention. A bag containing cement was attached to the woman's abdomen, to avoid the body from surfacing, according to Mirror Now. The head is yet to be found.

Soon after the information, officials reached the spot and launched investigation. An officer told the media that the victim was a woman in her 20s. Her body was not decomposed, which indicated that it was dumped into the lake barely hours before it was discovered.

Earlier this year, in Mumbai's Vasai, police found the skeleton of an unidentified woman, where her body was stuffed in a bag and was dumped by the highway in the area. The case is yet to be solved.
